Sindhu Samaveli shooting in Kerala
Harish Kalyan and Amala Paul are starring in the film Sindhu Samaveli. Sami is directing this film. The shooting of the film commenced at Azhathur near Palghat in Kerala State.
The hero Harish Kalyan while speaking about this film said,” Sindhu Samaveli is not about old civilization.
The film is based on the fashion which is in vogue in 2010. I am donning the role of a college student.
Amala Paul is pairing with me. The shooting of this film is taking place in Kerala. Apart from this I am acting in a film titled Aridhu Aridhu. I am donning the lead role while Uthra is pairing with me. 90% of the shooting took place in Australia.’
Sarithiram Director Explores 'Sindhu Samaveli'
Having churned out dramatic films ‘Uyir’, ‘Mirugam’ and ‘Sarithiram’, director Saamy is all set for his next venture titled ‘Sindhu Samaveli’. The film is produced by Michael Royappan of Global Infotainment Pvt. Ltd, who earlier produced blockbuster ‘Nadodigal’ and currently Aadhi’s ‘Kumbamela’.
Says Saamy: ‘it’s a fact that at most of times, I myself eclipsed my projects with some issues. But this time, scenarios will be completely different as this film ‘Sindhu Samaveli’ will prove to be an excellent piece of work.’Turning more lights on ‘Sindhu Samaveli’, Saamy adds, “This is a romantic story with Harish and Ghajini taking on lead roles with Amala Paul from God’s own country starring opposite them in female lead role.”
The film has Sundar C Babu scoring music with Uthpal V Nayanaar from Kerala cranking the camera. Major portions of the film will be shot across exotic locales of Kerala and will be completed within next couple of months.
Amala Paul bags role in Sindhu Samaveli
Amala Paul, the Mollywood actress who impressed in her debut film Veerasekaran, has bagged her second movie with noted director Saamy. The director has a penchant for themes that give equal importance to heroines and has launched his next movie titled Sindhu Samaveli.
The movie features newcomers Harish and Ghajini as the two leads. It is a contemporary romance with a strong message, says Saamy. Michael Royappan produced the movie and Sundar C Babu has composed the music.
Samy goes to Sindhu Samaveli
Controversies and Samy are like two sides of the same coin. For both his earlier ventures Uyir and Mirugam were surrounded by sensational issues for different reasons. And now, the director has resolved to make a movie without touching any sensitive subject.
Titled Sindhu Samaveli, the film which has newcomers Harish and Amala in lead roles, is produced by S Michael Rayappan of Global Infotainment, who had produced the blockbuster Nadodigal last year.
Says Samy, 'Sindhu Samaveli is a modern-day subject and it dwells on the lifestyle of youngsters. The film will come with a message that women are equal to men in all aspects. I am introducing about 30 freshers.'
On his long-pending Sarithiram, which has Aadhi and Sri Devika in lead roles, the filmmaker says, 'the movie is getting deyaled due to some unavoidable reasons. I am hopeful that it would see the light of the day this Independence Day'.
