T Tamizh Amudhan is producing a film titled Puzhal under the banner Classic Movies. He has also written the story and dialogues. Azhagu is directing this film. Nalla Thambi is composing the music for this film.
The audio launch of this film was held recently in Chennai. Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Minister Tha Mo Anbarasan released the audio CD which was received by music composer Ganesh.
Many of the important film personalities including Sivasakthi Pandian, G Sekaran, K Sundar MLA and Snegan participated in this function.
Director Azhagu while speaking about this film said,” Three youngsters who were free birds become prisoners. How their life changes after this and whether their love materializes is the story of this film. Hemachandran, Mano, Murali, Archana, Aswatha and Sona Singh are starring in this film.”

The movie on jail and jailbirds
Three young prisoners meet each other accidentally inside the prison campus and develop an odd friendship between them. The trio gets released and what they plan to do afterwards forms the crux of the story of ‘Puzhal’.
Mano, Hemachandran and Murali make their debut as heroes while Aswatha, Archana and Sona Singh would be debuting as heroines in ‘Puzhal’, which also has ‘Kadhal’ Dhandapani, ‘Kadhal’ Sugumar, Manobala, Ponnambalam and Shakila as the other members of the cast.
G.K. Loganathan has conceived the screenplay of the film while D.Tamizh Amuthan has produced the film on behalf of his banner ‘Classic Movies’ besides penning the story and dialogues of the film. Nallathambi would be debuting as the music director in ‘Puzhal’. Azhagu, who has directed a couple of duds in ‘Superdaa’ and ‘Thathithaavudhu Manasu’, is making his comeback as a director with this film.
The shooting is planned to be held in Madurai, Coimbatore, Maamandur, Moonar and in Chennai.

Thamizh Amudhan has written the story, screenplay and producing a film titled Puzhal. Mano, Murali and Hemachnadran are the heroes in this film. Archana, Aswatha and Sonam are the three heroines of this film.
Ponnambalam, Manobala, Kadhal Dhandapani and Kadhal Sukumar and Shakeela are also donning important roles. Director Azhagu while speaking about this film said,” The story of this film is about three youths who have gone astray from the righteous path.
These people who become friends in the prison come as brothers. After coming out of the prison, how they come across the society. How the society looks at them? I have narrated all these with action and sentiment.Nala Thambi has composed the music for the lyrics penned by Snegan. The highlight of this film is dialogues. Producer Tamizh Amudhan has written lively dialogues. I have directed this film with the notion that all the audience should enjoy this film.”
