Siddhu Plus 2, First attempt : Shanthanu with Bhagyaraj
Director K. Bhagyaraj’s next film Siddhu +2 First attempt starring Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Chandni, Rajesh, Seetha, Avinash, Ganja Karuppu has begun its post production. The film is a romantic comedy entertainer and has been shot in Chennai, Palani, Hyderabad and songs at the beaches of Bangkok.
Film revolves around two teenagers; both failed in +2 examinations and ran away from home.
They meet at Chennai, what happens between them and how they come together in life forms the crux of the story. The comedy track between Santhanu and Ganja Karuppu will be entertaining.
For Sakkarakatti, Santhanu’s debut film, he has won Film fare and Vijay TV awards. Chandni is making her debut in Tamil with this movie. Bhagiyaraj had completed Parijatham, featuring his daughter Saranya and Prithviraj.
The film has music by Dharan. Yuvan Shankar Raja has sung a song. Director Venkat Prabhu has lent his voice for another number.Movie is edited by Subhash and Camera by Rasamathi. Produced by K. Bhagiyaraj’s production company KBR Medias Pvt. Ltd., and distributed by Moser Baer Entertainment.
The film is also made in Telugu, but K. Bhagiyaraj is not directing that version. Siddu +2 First attempt will be released in the 1st week of December 2009.
Moser Baer inks deal with Bhagyaraj’s ‘Siddhu 2 First attempt’
Ace filmmaker-screenwriter K. Bhagyaraj made a commendable comeback with “Parijaatham’ that won more laurels for him. After a long sabbatical gap of 3 years, Bhagyaraj is back in action with “Siddhu 2 First Attempt’.
The film features Bhagyaraj’s son Shanthanu and actress Chandni in lead roles. It’s noteworthy that the actress is doing female lead in Aarya’s first home production as well. “Siddhu 2 First attempt’ revolves around a young lad and fille, belonging to two different cities, who run away from their homes under uncongenial situation of failing in plus two examinations. Both of them come across each other and what happens next has been narrated in a jovial manner.
The film has been shot across exotic locales of Chennai, Palani, and Hyderabad and for songs at sun-kissed beaches of Bangkok.
Santhanoo mimics his dad ‘Siddhu plus 2, First Attempt’
With his debut flick “Sakkarakatti’ gaining him lukewarm response, actor Santhanoo is sure about winning laurels with “Siddhu plus 2, First Attempt’ ready to hit screens shortly. The film is produced by KBR Medias Pvt. Ltd in collaboration with G. Dhananjayan of Moser Baer.
Santhanoo feels so elated for being a part of his dad Bhagyaraj’s film. But on the pars, there seemed to have a sort of war of sorts between father-n-son. It all happened when Santhanoo wanted to mimic his dad so as it would embellish the entertainment quotients in the film to a greater extent.
But, Bhagyaraj was very much keen on not letting this happen as he felt it would degrade his image in Kollywood. Nonetheless, Santhanoo somehow convinced his dad and got along with the comedic sequence.
Yuvan and Venkat Prabhu sing for Dharan in Siddhu Plus 2 First Attempt
Tharan is all set for the audio release of his latest movie titled Siddhu +2 First Attempt shortly. The movie starring Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Chandni, Rajesh, Seetha, Avinash and Ganja Karuppu is directed by K. Bhagyaraj. Siddhu + 2 First Attempt is produced by G. Dhananjayan for Moser Baer.
The film has very youthful and hummable songs from Dharan. For the first time, Yuvanshankar Raja has sung a song, for another music director, which is sure to become the most popular of the tracks in this album. For a mass entertainer song, director Venkat Prabhu has also lent his voice in the album. The music release is planned for 31st October at Santham Theatre in the presence of several VIPs of Tamil film industry. Think Music will be releasing the music.
