Vivek’s Magane En Marumagane
T.P Gajendran who had earlier directed films like Veedu Manaivi Makkal,Pengal Veetin Kangal and Budget Padmanabhan is now directing a hilarious film titled Magane En Marumagane.
This will be the director's 23rd film. This film is jointly produced by Raj Television Network and Muthulakshmi Movies. Vivek will be doing a remarkable role in this film. Raghav, Nasar, Livingston, Lollu Manohar, Saranya, Mrudhala, Lakshana, Ruchana and Paravai Muniamma are also in the cast.
This film is about how parents should bring up the children and how children should take care of the parents. Dheena is composing the music while Rajarajan is wielding the camera. Krishna Davinci is writing the dialogues. The story and screenplay is penned by the Director T.P.Gajendran.
Mithun wants to impress Sandalwood
Mithun Tejasvi seems to have the best of both the Kannada and Tamil film industries. “I may have two releases this month, one in Kannada and the other in Tamil,” says Mithun, who is currently in Chennai, promoting his Tamil film, Magane En Marumagane.
“It’s about a landlord. I play his son and comedian Vivek plays his son-in-law. It’s about the conflicts between me and Vivek,” says Mithun. Besides that, he’s awaiting the release of Anthratma, directed by Shekhar in Kannada. The producers of the film have started selling tickets a month in advance through a lucky draw.
Meanwhile, Mithun is also planning a thriller in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, again with Vivek. “People will see Vivek in a serious role in this trilingual project and I’m introducing him in Sandalwood,” he says. The untitled film, to be produced by Mithun’s friend Shiva, will be directed by debutant Anbu. The film will have only three characters and sixty per cent of the shoot will be in a car,” says Mithun, adding, “We’re planning to explore a new location and will be off to Bangkok during the first week of May.”
Vivek plays hero again
So what if Vivek's 'Solli Adippen' might never hit the screens? Vivek already has completed work for his other flick as hero 'Magane En Marumagane', which will see him playing the lead. But that's not all. Following this film, the actor will also play hero in another film, titled 'Ivandhaan Bala'.
The story, screenplay, dialogues and direction for the film is being done by director R Kannan. He had earlier directed the Prabhu Deva- Nayantara starrer 'Rasaiyya'.
In this film, Vivek is said to be playing the lead role of Bala, while the hunt for a heroine for the film is still on. Vivek's character is that of an man raised in an orthodox locality, and his encounters with petty thief Poochi, played by JV.

Vivek speaks to the media
Vivek spoke to the media yesterday evening. He said,” I made by debut in the film Manathil Urudhi Vendum in 1987. I am completing 23 years today in the field of cinema.
I don’t have the background of cinema family or godfather to lift me up. But during these 23 years the print media and other media have been a great support for me. This is the unforgettable truth.
You people have pinpointed my good things as well as my faults. When the situation is like this, I made a comment some six months back on an issue which hurt your feelings. I realized this very later on. When my well wishers pointed about this, I felt very bad.
Only after realizing my fault, I gave my explanation and also apologized for the same. Even in a recent interview in a TV channel, I said that the only people that I should thank as well as express my regrets are the press people.
I have decided not to comment or hurt the feelings of other people at any cost. Magane En Marumagane in which I have acted is to be released shortly. This film is directed by T P Gajendran. I have also acted like the late Surili Rajan in the film Vaada.
I am also currently acting in the films Maapillai, Kandha, Utthamaputhiran, Singam, Bale Pandiya and Bhavani. In my forthcoming films, I want to emphasize through my comedy about global warming, water problems and decline of agriculture.
I also want the Government to declare October 15th which is the birthday of former President Abdul Kalam as Students Day because he was the one who was the guide and brought a great vision to the youngsters.
