Singam': Two songs shot in a short span of time

When a couple of songs for actor Suriya’s upcoming film ‘Singam’ were canned within a span of seven days’ time, the feat made many industry folks drop their jaws. Not many could believe this actually happened, but it indeed happen in the film ‘Singam’ directed by Hari.

The entire crew of ‘Singam’ was in Dubai some time back. Usually, heroes take anywhere between 15 days to a month or so to can a song. Suriya reportedly asked director Hari, who is already a workaholic and a busy-bee, to complete the shooting of the two songs within a week’s time. Hari immediately obliged and sent the group dancers in a tizzy by asking them to train round-the-clock and ultimately, the songs were completely within seven days’ time.

Hari refutes title

Director Hari is busy giving the final touches to his much anticipated film ‘Singam’ starring Suriya and Anushka. When asked if he is going to stick to the title 'Aruva' for his next film Hari got tensed and roared he never ever thought of a title ‘Aruva’ for his film with Dhanush. He also blasted the so called sources which created its own title and now also spreading news of changing the title.

Later a cooled down Hari said he doesn’t have any plan to thrust an ‘aruva’ in the hands of Dhanush and he is searching for a decent apt title for the film. He hopes to be ready with the title once he completes the screenplay. He further said the film will be announced next month and the shooting will start in August.

Sony Music bags Singam audio

Sony Music after the stupendous success of Gautham Menon- AR Rahman combos Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa has now snapped Sun Pictures Suriya- Anushka action entertainer Singam, directed by Hari.

It is a good buy for Sony as Singam has six peppy mass numbers from Devi Sri Prasad and is being marketed as Suriya’s silver jubilee film. The music of the film will be launched by the end of the month.
